Modelling spatio-chromatic contrast sensitivity functions (CSF)
Project Website
Contrast thresholds describe the minimum difference in luminance or chromaticity that a human observer can detect. Contrast thresholds depend on a number of viewing and stimulus parameters, and the dependence of contrast thresholds to such parameters is described by contrast sensitivity functions (CSFs).
Modelling effect of age on contrast sensitivity functions
Retinal illuminance is reduced with age
CSF of older adults match CSF of younger adults at lower luminances
